Abstract
In this paper we study delivery project management in the context of an investment product’s life cycle. It is shown that this subject matter can be included as a constituent area in design science. Based on the findings, we identify common elements between delivery project management and engineering design process. Finally we construct a model of a new DFX tool, tentatively named DFDP, to support both the designers and the project managers.
